MUAE works with interior designers, architects and independent hospitality spaces seeking objects with permanence. Each vessel is hand-cast to order in our London studio and designed to be renewed through replaceable inserts.

Why specify MUAE

  • 01

    A sculptural object, lit or unlit

    Drawn in elevation as a building is drawn. The form holds a surface whether or not there is a flame in it.

    Renewed, not discarded

    A removable glass insert replaces the candle. The vessel is specified once and stays with the space.

  • 03

    Hand-cast and maker-marked

    Cast in mineral composite, demoulded, refined, sealed and stamped by hand in London. Tone and surface vary between pieces.

    Project quantities made to order

    Production is small and scheduled. Tell us the quantity and date early and we will tell you honestly whether we can meet it.

For interiors

An object that holds a room.

Residential projects, reception spaces, suites and dining rooms. The vessel reads as sculpture unlit, which is how it spends most of its life.

For hospitality

Replenished, not replaced.

The vessel stays with the space. Inserts are reordered from the account as needed, with repeat requirements planned against production.

Candle and material specifications are available for your fire risk assessment.

Trade accounts

Open a trade account. Order at trade pricing thereafter.

Accounts are approved individually. Once yours is open, vessels and inserts are ordered directly at your pricing — no enquiry needed for a reorder.

    We review it and reply within two working days.

    Your account opens with pricing confirmed, and reorders are placed directly.
