Designed to sit within its ring of arches, the insert allows the flame to illuminate the architecture from within. Once spent, lift it from the vessel and replace it with a new one.

Choose Lumen for an unscented study of form and flame, or select one of MUAE’s restrained fragrance compositions. Available individually or in sets of three and six.

Fragrance is approached with restraint. It is not intended to fill a room, but to sit within it — quietly shaping atmosphere rather than defining it.

Care and safety

Replacing the insert

Let the insert cool completely — at least two hours after the flame is out. The glass gets hot. Lift it clear of the chamber; it is not fixed and should not need force.

Burning safely

Burn until the wax reaches the edge of the glass the first time — one to two hours. Wax remembers its first burn. Trim the wick to 5 mm before each lighting, burn for no more than four hours at a time, and stop when around 10 mm of wax remains.
