Inspired by the rhythm of classical garden architecture, Pergola frames the flame within a series of tall arches. Its domed silhouette and softly textured surface give the vessel the presence of a miniature pavilion—sculptural by day and luminous when lit.

Each Pergola is hand-cast in a mineral-based composite, carefully demoulded, refined and sealed in our London studio. The finished vessel is hand-stamped with the MUAE maker's mark. Subtle variations in tone and texture reveal the making process and ensure that no two pieces are exactly alike.

Designed around a removable candle insert, Pergola can be refilled and enjoyed beyond its first burn.

Fragrance is approached with restraint. It is not intended to fill a room, but to sit within it — quietly shaping atmosphere rather than defining it.

Caring for the vessel

Wipe with a dry or barely damp cloth. Nothing abrasive, nothing solvent. Never submerge it and never put it in a dishwasher.

Tone and surface vary between pieces. That is the cast recording its own making, not a fault.

Burning safely

Trim the wick to 5 mm before lighting. Burn for no more than four hours at a time. Keep away from draughts, children and animals, and anything that can catch light. Stop burning when around 10 mm of wax remains.

Never leave a burning candle unattended.
